Hi, I’m Zoia.
Senior Product Designer with 8+ years of experience
I’ve been working in design since 2014. My background includes building products from the ground up, designing complex interfaces, creating multimedia storytelling projects, and leading small teams.
2021–2025
Senior Product Designer → Team Lead at Excorp, CS2 in-game items marketplace
As a Product Designer, I worked on designing and refining interface layouts, iOS and Android applications, and other company products. My responsibilities included conducting UX research and user interviews, generating and validating hypotheses, creating and testing prototypes, documenting solutions and preparing them for development, analyzing outcomes, and maintaining and evolving the design system.
Key achievements
Designed a new section of the website that grew 5x within a year. Conducted over 100 UX researches during the process, using insights to refine layouts and interface logic. Designed an onboarding flow that increased purchase conversion by 8%.
Introduced a design review stage, which significantly reduced errors. Oversaw a refactoring of design system components, streamlining and accelerating development.
Led user research that helped the team identify and prioritize tasks, resulting in improved metrics and higher conversion rates.
2016–2019
Design Studio — Nonprofit, Human-Centered Projects & Mentorship
Beyond interface design, I was also responsible for developing concepts, prototypes, and narratives. I assembled final projects on Readymag, coordinated development, and analyzed project and social media metrics.
Key projects over three years
Deep Inside — a project about people with severe multiple developmental disabilities for the nonprofit organization Perspektivy. I developed the concept, conducted photo and video production, designed the offline installation, and created the online version. The installation was exhibited at Manege and The Gallery in Saint-Petersburg.
Tales of the Golden Apples — a five-year public art program in Almetyevsk, Republic of Tatarstan. I designed and built a 40+ page website using a zero-code platform.
Being — a project for 4plus about the Armenian Revolution of 2018, told through the stories of four protagonists. I developed the digital narrative and assembled the project on Readymag.
Generation Stories — a project on intergenerational connections supported by the Consulate General of the Netherlands. The core idea was to spark new dialogue between grandparents and grandchildren through shared visual space. Millennials searched for photos of themselves at the same age and in similar poses as their grandparents, prompting curiosity and conversations across generations. Offline events took place at Garage Museum in Moscow, Manege in Saint-Petersburg, and at Pera Museum in Istanbul.
ITMO Master’s Course — curated a program where students developed and defended special projects for BIOCAD and VNIIM. Following the presentations, both organizations committed resources to further development.
2017–2021
Product Designer at Alter, psychologist search platform
At Alter, I was responsible for developing external and internal visual communications, including landing pages, promo sites, social media, the company blog, advertising campaigns, and branded merchandise. I created an Instagram style guide aligned with the product’s tone of voice and built a system of adaptive templates in Figma and After Effects for stories, posts, and targeted ads. I also led the creation and growth of the visual identity for the B2B segment.
Key achievements
Developed and optimized design templates for social media and landing pages, reducing design production time by 60%, and created detailed guidelines for each stage.
Designed and launched 15 educational landing pages on psychotherapy methods within two months using a zero-code platform. These pages, combined with SEO indexing, significantly improved conversion rates for therapist matching.
